Certify

Blockchain powered verification of skills, membership and achievements for schools, universities and training providers.

Certify wanted to build a pioneering OpenBadges platform that allowed Schools, Universities and Training Providers to issue trustless credentials to their students.

Larasoft were brought in after some early frustration with a previous developer and inherited an early stage partially built platform with some basic features. The concept had been clearly planned out by the Certify management team, but there was some way to go.

Technologies used:

  • Laravel

  • Vue.js - Single Page Application

  • Laravel Cashier for Stripe powered Subscriptions

  • mySQL

  • Bootstrap HTML

Competing with market leaders

There have been some big guns in this market that have dominated for the last decade, but with this has come a lack of innovation and use of modern technologies to cater for a younger, digitally native audience. Larasoft have changed that.

“...the quality of what has been delivered has been excellent.”

Larasoft partnered with us to design and develop a robust platform for our clients, a feature-rich portal for schools and training administrators to create, issue and share Open Badges, verified by Blockchain technology. We've also localised the platform to serve a Portuguese speaking market in Brazil.
