What we build

SaaS development on Laravel

We have helped founders take SaaS products from an idea to paying customers, and helped established platforms grow. Laravel gives you billing, teams, queues and APIs out of the box. We bring the experience to put them together well, and AI-assisted delivery to get you to market sooner.

Multi-tenant from day one

Teams, roles, white-labelling and custom domains, designed in rather than bolted on later.

Billing that works

Subscriptions, trials, seats, usage billing and invoices with Laravel Cashier and Stripe.

Built to scale

Queues, caching and sensible database design, so growth does not mean a rewrite.

AI features

Assistants, search and automation that make your product more useful, with costs kept under control.

What makes SaaS different

A SaaS product is not just a web application with a login. It has to handle many customers safely in one system, take payments every month, cope with growth you cannot predict and keep working while you ship changes every week. The decisions that matter most are made early:

  • Tenancy. How each customer's data is kept separate, and whether customers need their own domains or branding.
  • Billing. Plans, seats, trials, upgrades and what happens when a card fails.
  • Permissions. Who in each customer account can see and change what.
  • Operations. Backups, monitoring, queues and deploys that do not interrupt customers.

Getting these right in the first version is far cheaper than changing them once you have paying customers.

How we build SaaS with AI

We use AI coding agents for the repetitive parts of a SaaS build: scaffolding resources, writing tests, building admin screens and generating API documentation. Senior engineers make the architecture decisions, review every change and own the parts that must be right, such as tenancy, billing and security. You get to market sooner without inheriting a codebase that nobody understands. Read more about our AI-driven development process.

From prototype to platform

On SIA Control Room, we took a security operations platform from an early prototype to a commercial SaaS product, with three types of user, white-label branding, custom client domains, a mobile app and Stripe Connect payments to contractors. The client tested the prototype with real users early, which shaped which features were built first.

If you already have a prototype, perhaps built quickly with AI tools, our MVP development service turns it into something you can safely charge for.

Scope

What's included

  • Product discovery and a scoped first release
  • Multi-tenant architecture with teams, roles and permissions
  • Subscription billing with Stripe, including trials, coupons and seats
  • Onboarding, user management and account settings
  • Admin panel for your team, built with Filament
  • APIs for mobile apps, partners and integrations
  • Hosting, monitoring, backups and deploy pipelines
  • Analytics and event tracking so you can see what customers use

Process

How it works

  1. Discover

We work out who the product is for, what the first version must do and what can wait.

  2. Prototype

A clickable or working prototype that you can put in front of real customers.

  3. Build the first release

Weekly releases to a staging site, so you see progress and can change direction early.

  4. Launch and grow

We stay on to fix, improve and scale as customers arrive.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to build a SaaS product?

A focused first release usually takes 8 to 16 weeks of engineering time. At our rates of £20 to £25 per hour, that typically means a five-figure budget rather than six. We give you a fixed price or an estimate range for each milestone after a discovery call. Our guide to custom software costs in the UK explains what drives the price.

Why build a SaaS product on Laravel?

Laravel includes much of what a SaaS product needs, such as authentication, queues, scheduled jobs, notifications and Stripe billing through Laravel Cashier. That means more of your budget goes on the features that make your product different.

Do we own the code?

Yes. The code, the hosting accounts and the Stripe account are yours from the start. There is no licence fee and no lock-in.

Can you take over a SaaS product that someone else built?

Yes. We start with a code review to understand what we are inheriting, then plan the work. See our rescue service if things are urgent.

Do you build our own products too?

Yes. We build and run our own SaaS products, which keeps us close to the problems founders face. See our products.
