AI-first service

Infrastructure planning and management for Laravel

Where your application runs decides what it costs, how fast it is and how quickly you recover when something breaks. We design hosting that fits your app and your budget, then run it for you so you never have to think about servers.

Planned, not improvised

A written plan for hosting, scaling, backups and recovery, with monthly costs estimated before you commit.

Monitored around the clock

Uptime, errors, queues, disk and certificates are watched automatically, with alerts routed to the right person.

Backups you have restored

Backups are only useful if they restore. We test restores on a schedule and write down how long recovery takes.

You own every account

Hosting is billed to you and runs in your accounts. If you ever leave, everything stays with you.

Infrastructure for the AI era

AI-assisted development means features ship faster, and every release is another chance for something to go wrong in production. AI features add new moving parts too: queues processing long-running jobs, vector databases, calls to model providers that can be slow or rate limited, and costs that grow with usage.

Good infrastructure absorbs all of that. Deploys are automatic and reversible, errors are seen before customers report them, and a bad day ends with a restore rather than a crisis.

Infrastructure planning

An infrastructure plan is a short, practical document that answers the questions most teams only ask after an outage:

  • Where should the application run, and why? We compare the realistic options for your app, such as Laravel Forge on DigitalOcean or Hetzner, Laravel Cloud, or AWS, on cost, effort and risk.
  • What will it cost each month now, and at ten times today's traffic?
  • How does it scale? Web servers, queue workers, databases, caches, search and storage.
  • What happens when it fails? Backups, restore times, monitoring, alerting and who does what.
  • How is it secured? Network rules, access, secrets, patching and audit logs.
  • How do we get there from where you are today, with a migration plan that avoids downtime.

The plan is yours to keep. You can implement it yourselves, with another supplier or with us.

Infrastructure management

When we manage your infrastructure, we take on the work that is easy to postpone and painful to neglect:

  • Patching. Operating system, PHP, database and web server updates every month, and urgent security patches as soon as they are released.
  • Monitoring. Uptime checks, error tracking, queue health, disk space, slow queries and certificate expiry.
  • Backups. Automated, encrypted, off-site backups, with restores tested on a schedule so we know exactly how long recovery takes.
  • Deployments. Zero-downtime deploys from Git with tests and health checks, and a one-click rollback.
  • Cost control. A monthly look at what you are paying for and what you are not using.

Managed infrastructure starts at £99 per server per month. Hosting fees are paid directly to your provider, so there is no mark-up and no lock-in.

Built by people who use these platforms every day

We have been deploying Laravel applications with Laravel Forge for years. The platforms in our case studies, from SIA Control Room to OnScreenDB, run on Forge-managed servers on DigitalOcean, with Amazon S3 for file storage.

Pair infrastructure management with a security patching plan for the application itself, or a support and maintenance plan for code changes.

Scope

What's included

  • Review of your current hosting, costs, performance and single points of failure
  • A recommended architecture with the reasoning behind it and estimated monthly costs
  • Server provisioning on Laravel Forge or Laravel Cloud, or infrastructure as code on AWS
  • Zero-downtime deploys from Git, with automated tests before release
  • Queue workers, scheduled tasks, Redis and Horizon set up and supervised
  • Monthly operating system, PHP and database patching
  • Uptime, error, performance and certificate monitoring
  • Automated off-site backups with documented, tested restores
  • A disaster recovery plan with agreed recovery times
  • A monthly report covering incidents, changes, costs and recommendations

Not included

  • Hosting fees, which you pay directly to your provider
  • Application code changes, which we quote separately or cover in a support plan

Process

How it works

  1. Audit

We look at what you run today, what it costs and what has gone wrong before.

  2. Plan

You get a written plan covering architecture, costs, security, backups and a migration path, with options at different budgets.

  3. Build or migrate

We build the new environment alongside the old one, rehearse the move and switch over with minimal downtime.

  4. Run

We patch, monitor and back up every month, and handle incidents when they happen.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Should we use Laravel Forge, Laravel Cloud or AWS?

It depends on your traffic, your team and how much control you need. Forge on a provider such as DigitalOcean or Hetzner is often the most cost-effective choice for steady traffic. Laravel Cloud suits teams that want a fully managed platform with autoscaling. AWS makes sense when you need specific services, strict compliance controls or very large scale. Our hosting guide explains the trade-offs, and the infrastructure plan gives you a recommendation for your app.

Do we have to move hosting provider?

No. Many clients keep their existing provider and ask us to tidy up and manage it. We only recommend a move when it saves money, removes real risk or solves a performance problem.

Who owns the servers and accounts?

You do. Servers, cloud accounts, domains and backups are created in your name and billed to you. We are added as users, and you can remove us at any time.

What happens if the site goes down at night?

Monitoring alerts us automatically. Response times depend on your plan and are agreed in writing. Critical outages on managed servers are worked on as soon as we are alerted.

Can you reduce our AWS bill?

Often. Common savings come from right-sizing servers, moving steady workloads to reserved or simpler hosting, cleaning up unused resources and caching. The infrastructure plan includes a cost review with estimated savings.
