AI-first service

Laravel AI integration

Put large language models to work inside the application your business already runs on. We design, build and run AI features on Laravel, with the testing, cost controls and data protection that a demo usually skips.

Assistants and chat

Answer customer and staff questions from your own content, with sources and a hand-off to a human.

Document processing

Extract, classify and summarise invoices, contracts, CVs and forms into structured data.

Semantic search

Search by meaning across products, tickets and knowledge bases with embeddings and vector search.

Agents and automation

Tool-calling agents that take actions in your app, with permissions, limits and audit logs.

AI features that belong in your application

The most useful AI features are rarely chatbots bolted onto a website. They sit inside the workflows your team and customers already use: a support form that drafts a reply, an upload that turns a PDF into structured data, a search box that understands what people mean.

Laravel is a strong foundation for this work. Since Laravel 13, the framework includes a first-party AI SDK with a single interface for text generation, tool-calling agents, embeddings, images, audio and vector stores. Combined with queues, PostgreSQL with pgvector and Laravel's testing tools, it lets us build AI features that behave like the rest of a well-engineered application.

What we build

  • Knowledge assistants that answer questions from your documentation, policies or product data, with links to the source.
  • Document pipelines that read uploaded files, extract the fields you need, validate them and send anything uncertain to a person.
  • Semantic search across products, tickets, articles or records, so people find what they mean rather than what they typed.
  • Drafting tools for emails, reports, product descriptions and replies, with your tone of voice and approval steps.
  • Agents that use your app's own actions, such as creating a ticket or updating a record, with permissions and an audit trail.

How we keep AI features reliable

AI output varies, so we treat quality as something to measure rather than hope for.

  1. Evaluations. We build a set of real examples with expected results and run them on every change, the same way unit tests protect normal code.
  2. Structured outputs. Where possible, the model returns data in a fixed format that Laravel validates before anything is saved.
  3. Fallbacks. Calls run on queues with timeouts, retries and a fallback model, so a slow provider does not take your app down.
  4. Cost limits. Per-user and per-day limits, caching and the smallest model that does the job well.
  5. Human review. For anything that affects money, contracts or people, a person approves the AI's suggestion.

Data protection

Before we build, we map what data the feature needs, where it goes and how long it is kept. We use providers' business terms that exclude training on your data, pick processing regions to suit you, and strip personal data that the model does not need. That gives you what you need for your UK GDPR records and your customers' security questionnaires.

Scope

What's included

  • Discovery workshop to find the AI features worth building, and the ones that are not
  • Provider and model selection based on quality, cost, speed and data residency
  • Prompt and tool design, versioned alongside your code
  • Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with embeddings and vector search
  • Evaluation tests that measure answer quality before and after every change
  • Cost controls, rate limits and caching to keep monthly bills predictable
  • Privacy review covering personal data, retention and UK GDPR
  • Queues, retries and fallbacks so slow or failed model calls do not break your app
  • Monitoring of usage, cost and quality in production

Process

How it works

  1. Discover

We map where AI could save time or add value, and estimate the cost per use for each idea.

  2. Prove it

A fixed-price proof of concept tests the idea on your real data, with measured results.

  3. Build it properly

The feature is built into your Laravel app with tests, evaluations, cost limits and permissions.

  4. Run and improve

We monitor quality and cost in production and tune prompts, models and retrieval as you learn.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which AI provider should we use?

It depends on the task, your budget and where your data can go. The Laravel AI SDK and Prism give your app one consistent interface across providers, so we can test several models on your real data and switch later without rewriting the feature.

Will our data be used to train AI models?

Not if the feature is set up properly. We use business API terms that exclude training on your data, choose regions to suit your data-residency needs, and avoid sending personal data to a model unless it is necessary.

How much does an AI feature cost to run?

Model costs are usually charged per token, so they grow with usage. We estimate the cost per action during the proof of concept, then use caching, smaller models for simple steps and usage limits to keep bills predictable.

Do we need to upgrade to Laravel 13 first?

Not always. The first-party Laravel AI SDK arrived with Laravel 13, while Prism and direct API clients work with earlier versions. If your app is on an old version, we will usually recommend an upgrade first because it also brings security and performance benefits.

How do you stop the AI from making things up?

We ground answers in your own content with retrieval, require sources, constrain outputs to structured formats where possible, and run evaluation tests that catch regressions. For high-stakes actions, a person approves the result.
