Laravel support and maintenance

A live application needs looking after. Our support plans keep your Laravel app patched, upgraded, monitored and improving, with a team that knows your code and answers when you need them.

Always up to date

Laravel, PHP and package updates every month, and a plan for each new major version.

Problems spotted early

Error tracking and uptime monitoring alert us to issues, often before your users notice.

Fixes and improvements

Use your hours for bug fixes, small features, reports or anything else the app needs.

Monthly reporting

A short report on what we did, what we found and what we recommend next.

Why Laravel applications need ongoing maintenance

Software that is not maintained does not stay still; it decays. Packages fall behind, security fixes go unapplied, and every year the eventual upgrade gets bigger and more expensive. Laravel's own support policy makes this concrete: each major version gets bug fixes for 18 months and security fixes for two years, then nothing.

A maintenance plan replaces occasional emergencies with small, regular, predictable work.

What a support plan covers

Keeping it current. Every month we update Laravel's minor releases, PHP packages and front-end dependencies, run your tests and deploy through staging. Once a year we plan and quote the next major Laravel upgrade, so you are never stuck on an unsupported version.

Keeping it safe. We watch security advisories for every package you use and apply urgent patches quickly. For applications that handle payments or sensitive data, we recommend adding a full security review.

Keeping it running. Error tracking and uptime monitoring tell us when something goes wrong. We check that backups run and can be restored.

Making it better. Hours left after maintenance go on whatever helps your business most: fixing long-standing bugs, small features, reports, performance tuning or tidying up technical debt.

AI-assisted maintenance

Maintenance is a good fit for AI-assisted work. Agents can draft dependency updates, write missing tests and investigate error reports quickly. Our engineers review and verify everything before it is deployed, so your hours go further without adding risk.

Who it suits

Support plans suit businesses with a live Laravel application and no full-time developer, teams that want specialist cover alongside their own developers, and clients coming out of a project rescue who want things to stay fixed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does Laravel support cost?

Plans start at £200 per month, which covers 8 hours at our senior rate. Larger plans add more hours. Unused hours roll over for one month. All prices exclude VAT.

What happens if we need more hours in a month?

Extra work is billed at our standard hourly rates, and we always tell you before going over your plan.

Can you support an app that another agency built?

Yes. We start with a review of the code and infrastructure so we understand what we are taking on, and we flag anything urgent straight away.

Do you include hosting?

Hosting is separate and paid directly to your provider, so you keep ownership. We can manage the servers too under our infrastructure management service.

What response times do you offer?

Response times are agreed in writing when you start, based on how critical the application is to your business.
